In The “Comcast Take 5 Lounge”
It has become a festival staple so football and baseball fans will be pumped to learn the Comcast Take 5 Lounge is returning to this year’s Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival, October 13-14 from 9 am to 5 pm on historic Main Street.
“NFL and NCAA football are full swing and the MLB playoffs are going full tilt,” said festival Chairman Cameron Palmer. It’s one of the best times of the year in sports and, thanks to Comcast, we’re delighted to bring the action LIVE to fans on a giant LED screen again at this year’s festival.”
“Comcast is delighted to partner with the festival to help make the Comcast Take 5 Lounge a reality,” said Elaine Barden, VP of Sales and Marketing for Comcast. “Sports fans and friends looking for a spot to kick back and catch some games will love it.”
The Comcast Take 5 Lounge centrally located at Correas Street just off of Main Street, is a place where festivalgoers can take a break and relax with friends while watching their favorite sporting events on a giant screen LED TV.
Top that off with a tasty Pumpkin Harvest Ale, refreshing Kolsch or hoppy IPA from Half Moon Bay Brewing Company and an Italian sausage sandwich with zesty marinara sauce fired up by the good folks at the Coastside Adult Day Health Center and you’ve got a pretty sweet spot to kick back.
“The Comcast Take 5 Lounge is a slam dunk winner,” said Palmer. “It’s an awesome attraction in every way and people absolutely love it.”
Festival organizers partnered with Auburn-based Visible Display Corporation to bring the giant light-emitting-diode screen to the festival.
